Fine Hygienic Holding (FHH), one of the world’s leading manufacturers of hygienic paper products, was proud to participate in the recent Break the Ceiling, Touch the Sky® event in Dubai. The Middle East edition of the highly influential Success and Leadership Summit for Women is a pivotal voice in the region’s movement towards gender equality, and a key focus for Fine’s ongoing diversity efforts. In addition to supporting the event as a platinum sponsor, CEO James Michael Lafferty, Chief Legal and Compliance Alizeh Haider, and Chief Human Energy Nicola Billeh also attended as speakers and representatives for the company.
The summit brought together business leaders and experts for a one-day program, focused on empowering female leaders and male champions for diversity by defining and promoting international best practices from over 200 of the world’s most influential companies.
“Despite the progress we have made on our journey to become diversity leaders in our industry and in our markets, there is still so much we can learn from this wonderful event and the powerful, inspiring women behind it,” said Lafferty. “We have thrown our full support behind the summit and are proud to continue our role in creating a better and more accepting world for women in business everywhere.”
FHH is a supporter of the Break the Ceiling, Touch the Sky platform, with several high-ranking executives receiving awards at last year’s Leonie Awards ceremony for their efforts to empower women.
Despite the regional underrepresentation of women in the workforce, FHH continues to improve on its standards by bringing more female employees in at every level of the company. Fine has begun to develop a reputation as an unconditional supporter of gender diversity in the region, and with the help of this summit, will continue to build on this reputation in the future.
