Fine Hygienic Holding (FHH), the leading manufacturer of hygienic paper products in the region, is pleased to announce the renewal of its agreement with local non-profit Tkiyet Um Ali, in order to provide food for more than 800 underprivileged families across Jordan during the month of Ramadan. Through this ongoing partnership, a portion of Fine’s profits will support Tkiyet Um Ali’s ongoing efforts to eradicate hunger in the Kingdom.
The agreement between Fine and Tkiyet Um Ali, the first sustainable food support initiative in the region, will once again provide families across the country with much needed food parcels during the Holy Month of Ramadan. These parcels will be distributed to TUA’s beneficiaries throughout the Kingdom.
“Because Ramadan is a time of selflessness, reflection, and generosity, there is no better time for good deeds and helping those in need,” said Zaid Jaser, FHH’s Director of Sales and Marketing in Jordan. “The Holy Month provides us with a sense of empathy and compassion for those who experience hunger year-round, and we at Fine believe that with this compassion must come action. In keeping with our dedication to making Jordan a better place, we are eager to continue extending our support to Tkiyet Um Ali.”
Mr. Balkar added; “We are grateful for the continues support of Fine Hygienic Holding, such partnerships will help us achieve our vision to reach a hunger-free Jordan through our sustainable food aid program. We are very thankful for the consistent support of our partners over the past years”.
For 15 years, Tkiyet Um Ali has served as a model institution for hunger and relief initiatives throughout the MENA region; 100% of donations made to the organization go directly to its expansive network of beneficiaries. Fine’s support for the organization extends from its wide-reaching commitment to supporting the sustainable socioeconomic development of communities everywhere it operates. Through initiatives like this one, as well as programs like its flagship CSR initiative, Khair Al Koura, Fine aspires to create a positive, lasting impact on those in underprivileged communities and households.
Tkiyet Um Ali currently supports 30,000 families living in extreme poverty across the Kingdom. These families receive monthly food parcels that contain 22 food items, which meet the families’ food requirements throughout the month.
